Take a Deep Breath

After years of preparation, in 3 short weeks, Isaac, Kramer and Jonathan from Team Pacific Boys will push off from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to complete the 3000-mile race to Antigua: the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2021.

Cross Country Road Trip and Shipping

In October, we finished our last major milestone before the start line by packing, loading, and shipping our boat “Lionheart”. We drove 3000 miles for over 50 hours to deliver the boat to Charleston, South Carolina. From there, our boat with all our gear was loaded into a container and shipped - bound for La Gomera where we will meet again in around 1 week’s time.

Travel to La Gomera

The Boys will leave the US on November 28th, and arrive on November 29th to the start line in San Sebastián de La Gomera. There we will meet up with over 30 other teams to take part in the cross Atlantic Challenge.

The days we are there will be packed with final preparations, satellite phone, and emergency procedure training.

Follow the Race

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge will start on December 12th.

Atlantic Campaigns, the race organizers, will be streaming live on Facebook and you can follow the full race using the ‘Yellow Brick’ tracker on their website and YB app which updates our position approximately every 4 hours.

We will be providing updates from the ocean through our social media on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We encourage you to follow and share the adventure. More to come!
