We are proud to welcome aboard our new teammate to Pacific Boys Rowing: Mark Walters

Mark joins the team as a Software Development Engineer from AWS. He’s an indoor rowing enthusiast and fitness data wizard. Mark moved to Seattle 7 years ago from his hometown of Melbourne, Australia. He once rode his motorcycle over 10,000km along the East Coast of Australia, taking on bushfires, blazing heat, floods and tropical cyclones.

Last month, we launched our GoFundMe campaign to help cover remaining race expenses - we are proud to have raised over $9,000 to date.

WA360: Mission Accomplished!

On June 12th at 5:09 am, we successfully completed the 2021 Washington 360 race! We rowed 360 miles during 119 hours, each rowing 14 hours a day; all while sleeping no more than 3 hours at a time. An incredible experience, with many lessons we will apply to the Atlantic. We finished 2nd in the human powered class, and 19th overall.
